Bernadette L. Peters, born Bernadette A. Lazzara in Ozone Park Queens New York on February 28, 1948, is a songwriter/singer and the author of children's book. Her work spans more than more than five decades and covers TV, musical theatre as well as solo performances and recording. She's among the most widely acclaimed Broadway performers.
